Sara has an international marketing degree and has worked with search engine marketing since 1999. She was the founder of the first search engine marketing department of the Outrider group in Sweden and was one of the pioneers in the market. Today, she works as an independent strategic search consultant in her own firm Search Integration Sweden AB managing both Nordic and European clients with high complexity. Her assignments involve high level strategic search consultancy for Enterprise clients like Samsung and IBM under Global Strategies as well as integrated search marketing work and education programs for smaller clients. |

Mel joined Microsoft the day the French adCenter pilot started back in the Summer of 2005. As part of Microsoft’s Client Service Operations team, Mel’s role is to build relationships within the adCenter advertising community to support, educate & evangelise through the adCenter Blog, industry forums, and to speak about adCenter at trade shows & other events. |
Mel began his online advertising career as the Shopping & Travel Editor at LookSmart UK over seven years ago, before progressing to Sales Operations Manager for their Performance Listings product on MSN.co.uk.
After LookSmart withdrew from International markets, Mel joined 24/7 Search as an Account Director managing search activity across all search engines for a number of blue-chip clients.
It didn’t take much persuasion for Mel to take the his initial role as Pan-European Search Media Strategist at MSN where he was part of the team that planned & executed the UK roll-out of Microsoft adCenter in August 2006.

Peter now works as Regional UK Sales Manager for Yahoo! and is responsible for display, search, and mobile advertising sales from key advertising agencies in the north of the UK. A respected figure in digital marketing, Peter has spoken at many conferences, seminars and industry events throughout the UK, in association with leading organisations like the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Institute of Directors.
Prior to joining Yahoo!, Peter helped set up the new media outsourcing company Ophidia and was Business Development Director at Carlton Hyperactive. Caragh McKenna has over seven years experience in Search Marketing working on both Paid Search and Search Engine Optimsation campaigns. Michelle O’Keefe is an expert in digital marketing for the travel and tourism sector. Her passion in digital marketing was sparked while working with ebookers as Marketing Manager, Europe. During her time at ebookers she travelled to Madrid, Geneva, London and Delhi learning best practices in online marketing. Michelle’s contribution at ebookers was recognised through the Golden Spider Awards as Best Travel & Tourism Wed site with her direction. |
With extensive digital marketing experience, Michelle was approached by companies seeking direction in their digital strategy. As a result she established Netmarketing, a digital marketing consultancy. Her clients include Sunway Travel, Holidaysonline and Babytravelshop.
In June 2007 Michelle was appointed Executive Director of the Visit USA Committee in Ireland. Michelle is responsible for the trade relations between operators, airlines and CVBs. Michelle is the face of the Visit USA Committee for international events such as PowWow, World Travel Market and more. One of the first projects Michelle oversaw was the roll out of an exciting new web site www.visitusa.ie which acts as a useful resource for the trade, media and consumers.
From her years of consulting in digital marketing she identified a gap in the Irish Market place for a Travel Affiliate programme and launched Travel Affiliate in September 2007 creating a strategic partnership with the online business portal and industry giants MSN.ie. Travel Affiliate is the exclusive provider of travel content to MSN.ie Travel Zone.
Travel Affiliate was short listed for the HSMAI – Best Marketing Innovation Award. Michelle herself was short listed in the category as Internet Innovator of the year in the Net Visionary Awards 2007. Gerard O’Neill is Chairman of the Amárach Group. Gerard studied economics at the LSE before working at The Henley Centre for Forecasting in London. He then became business planning manager in An Post, before setting up Henley Centre Ireland. Subsequently re-named Amárach Consulting, the company became the first Irish agency to establish an overseas operation (in the UK). |
Subsequently, Research Solutions and Amárach Consulting merged to form Amárach Research in 2008. Gerard is a member of ESOMAR, the Market Research Society and a director of AIMRO - the association of Irish market research organisations. He was previously chairman of the Marketing Society, and a director of the Irish Direct Marketing Association. He is also a member of IBEC's Energy Policy Committee. He speaks and writes regularly on the business impact of economic and social change.

The division is responsible for evangelising the benefits that Google's products and services bring to this market across EMEA. Based in Dublin, Inside Sales employs sales professionals from the EU, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, to support Google's growth across the region.
Previous to joining Google, Mike worked at CIT, where he was European Sales Director for Dell Financial Services (DFS). DFS provide financial solutions to Dell's business and consumer customers throughout the EU. Prior to DFS he was ten years with Dell, and was responsible for setting up Dell's UK Consumer Sales Division, as well as Benelux Home & Small Business Division.
Michael holds an honours degree in Business Studies from University of Ulster and a diploma in Electronic Engineering from CIT, Cork. He has a daughter and a son who support Munster and Leinster respectively.
